1. What GetJusticelink AI is — and is not

GetJusticelink AI is a technology platform that helps you organize information about a legal problem and connect with attorneys, legal aid organizations, and other resources.

GetJusticelink AI is not a law firm, does not provide legal advice, and does not create an attorney-client relationship. Nothing on this platform — including AI-generated summaries, explanations, timelines, or matches — is legal advice. Only a licensed attorney who reviews your actual situation can advise you.

2. The $9.99 case package

For a one-time payment of $9.99 USD, you may purchase the full case package for one specific case. The package includes: AI-assisted document review and organization, an organized case summary, daily automated help searches (lawyer matching, legal aid and pro bono resources, deadline checks, and missing-information checks), and lawyer-matching tools for that case.

The payment is per case, not a subscription. Purchasing the package does not guarantee that an attorney will take your case, that any lawyer is available, or any particular outcome. Payment never promises a legal result.

3. Refunds

If you believe you were charged in error, contact us within 14 days of purchase and we will review refund requests in good faith. If a technical failure prevented delivery of the purchased case tools, we will refund or re-deliver the package at your choice.

Refunds are not available simply because a case did not produce the outcome you hoped for, because no outcome is ever promised.

4. AI limitations

Our AI assistants can make mistakes. They may misread a document, miss a date, or misunderstand your story. Always verify important information — especially deadlines — with an attorney or appropriate legal professional.

The AI will never declare that a law was violated, never guarantee a win or settlement, and never tell you to ignore a court order. If it ever appears to do so, treat that output as an error and report it.

5. Emergencies

GetJusticelink AI is not for emergencies. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call 911 or your local emergency number. For urgent protection of a senior, contact local adult protective services. Do not rely on this platform when time is critical.

6. Community content

Community stories help people feel less alone. You may react, comment respectfully, and share that you have experienced something similar.

You may not post content that is harassing, defamatory, fraudulent, or that exposes another person's private information. You may not give legal advice or claim to be an attorney. We may remove content that violates these rules.

Stories labeled “Illustrative example” are fictional demonstrations with generated imagery. Stories are labeled “Real user story” or “Attorney reviewed” only after verification — never before.

7. Your submissions and permissions

If you submit a story or photo, it remains private and pending until you explicitly grant publishing permission and a GetJusticelink reviewer approves it. Approval is not guaranteed.

By granting permission, you confirm you have the right to share the content and any people shown in photos, and you allow GetJusticelink AI to display it on the community pages. You may request removal at any time, and we will remove approved content within a reasonable period.

We do not publish names, contact details, document images, or sensitive case facts by default.

8. Privacy

Your case information is private. It is shared with an attorney only when you explicitly authorize that specific sharing. You can see who has access and revoke it from your privacy settings.

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including role-based access. No online service can guarantee absolute security; use strong passwords and protect your account.

9. Attorney profiles and verification

Attorneys shown as “Verified attorney” have completed our verification process. Verification confirms licensure information at a point in time; it is not an endorsement and does not guarantee quality, availability, or results. Matching scores reflect fit with your stated needs and the attorney's profile — not a prediction of success.

Any engagement, fee arrangement, or representation agreement is solely between you and the attorney. GetJusticelink AI does not take a percentage of attorney fees.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GetJusticelink AI and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for decisions made based on AI-generated information. Our total liability for any claim related to a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for that purchase.

11. Changes and contact

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be announced in the app before they take effect. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept them.
